PVA Eye Spears intended use:
PVA ophthalmic products are designed to staunch blood loss after invasive surgery or traumatic injury in the areas of ophthalmic surgery. The PVA sponge reacts quickly to absorb blood and body fluids.

PVA Eye Spears contraindications
Patients with allergies to any of the components should refrain from using this product.
Directions for Use PVA Eye Spears:
- Open the individual sterile protective pack aseptically. Check that the individual sterile protective pack is unopened and verify the expiry date. Remove the Eye Spears aseptically and place on the operating table. Remark: Special specifications according to the order of the contract.
- Use the Eye Spears to absorb fluids and removal debris from the operative field or instruments during ophthalmic surgery.
- Do not resterilize. At the end of surgery, place the Eye Spears in disposable waste bags.

- This device is supplied STERILE and ready to use.
- The device is for SINGLE USE ONLY. Do NOT re-sterilise or re-use.
- Do not use if the packaging has been opened or damaged.
- This device is intended for use by trained medical persons possessing the requisite skill and experience to use the device in accordance with the prevailing standards of medical practice and in conjunction with the instructions for this device.
- The product comes into contact with bodily fluids, which can be contaminated. Care should be taken in the handling and disposal of the device after use to prevent contamination.
